Mulholland Investigation turns 28 this year!

For nearly three decades, we have dedicated ourselves to providing top-notch investigative services while fostering strong community ties in Jacksonville.

From humble beginnings in a spare bedroom in Jacksonville, Florida, Mulholland Investigation has flourished and is now the oldest Private Investigative Agency in North Florida. In 1996 we opened Mullholland Investigation’s doors in our family home with just two employees. Two years later, we rented space on Monroe Street downtown, but quickly outgrew the space and moved again to a larger space down the street. Early 2006, in a defining moment, we purchased our current building, solidifying our presence in downtown Jacksonville and our dedication to our craft. Today, our team stands over 25 strong, a testament to our enduring legacy and unwavering pursuit of truth and justice.

Our roots in Jacksonville allow us to contribute to the community in meaningful ways beyond our investigative work:

  • We find great fulfillment in mentoring middle school students downtown, a rewarding experience that transcends our professional duties.

  • We are proud to have been selected as the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Council’s Small Business Leader of the Year, a testament to our dedication and contribution to the local business community.

  • Being actively involved in various professional civic and service organizations has enriched our firm and enhanced our ability to serve our clients effectively.

  • Our 31 years of membership in Downtown Rotary have been truly memorable and I am excited to announce that I will be assuming the role of President of this Club next July!

Even after decades in business, we always try to do the “right thing” and continually fight the negative conation of the private investigative industry being unscrupulous. We collect evidence lawfully so our clients can rely on it in any case, all while respecting the reasonable expectation of privacy that even subjects of our investigations are entitled.

Sometimes numbers tell a story better than words:

  • We have conducted investigations in over 30 US states

  • 100s of professional network of colleagues have supported our cases over the years

  • More than 12 countries have been sited to support our cases

  • We estimate we have conducted over 15,000 investigations

A friend recently asked about a moment I am most proud of after 28 years in business, a thoughtful question I welcomed. But I could not just choose one. When clients send personal notes of thanks for changing their life… when college interns return to share they have secured the law enforcement positions they dreamed of… when my team and I work on pro-bono cases where underprivileged juveniles were overcharged… these are all parts of our story that make me proud and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I am glad our story is not over yet, and very much look forward to continuing to serve our community and clients.

All my thanks,

Sean
